WATER

Keep the soil moist in spring and summer, during the growing season, but allow the soil to dry between waterings in the dormant fall and winter months.

AIR

Mimic a tropical environment with temperatures between 65º-85º and a high moisture content. You can provide a regular boost of humidity by:

• Adding a humidifier nearby
• Creating a pebble tray that lives underneath the pot
• Misting the leaves 4-7x per week with non-tap water

OUR RECS

We recommend a sturdy clay or ceramic planter with a drainage hole to provide ideal moisture retention for the Birds Of Paradise. When repotting, use a planter of the same size or no more than 2 inches larger.
